Dormice
Dormouse Box Donations
Dormouse Boxes – To help encourage dormouse populations and as part of the National Dormouse Monitoring Project (NDMP)
There has been a two-thirds decline in population of dormice since 2000 and their range across the UK has become very much reduced since Victorian times, now relatively common only in southern England.(https://ptes.org/campaigns/dormice/about-hazel-dormice/hazel-dormice-range-and-distribution-in-the-uk/)

In 2021 we were pleased to buy a number of dormouse boxes and kits for boxes to be made to support the Forestry England’s work on their dormouse initiatives in Leigh Woods, near Bristol

Now we are pleased to be donating dormouse boxes to help others in s slightly wider area to help in their work to help dormice thrive where they are.
