Local Wildlife – Bats, Dormice etc

Sarah loved wildlife. We fondly recall the hours she spent at Bristol Zoo watching Meerkats as part of her undergraduate dissertation, and the countless nights she spent on Bat surveys while working as an environmental consultant. In her memory we have sought to support some of favourite species :

Meerkats – Sarah and Gemma did their final year university project on the meerkats at the old Bristol Zoo in what was a bit of a love-hate relationship with the meerkats being something of a pain for them sometimes. Meerkats aren’t native to Bristol but we’ve all seen them on TV and the fondest memories of those (as for many other things) have to be those from Disney …..
